Welcome to the City of Norfolk's Neighborhood Mapper Application.

Quick Start Instructions:

Click on one of the three search tabs (Address, Civic League, Planning District) provided on the left of this web page. In the search form, fill in the appropriate information or select the area of interest and hit search. The Neighborhood Mapper will then show the area of interest. Turn features on and off by clicking the checkboxes in the "Data Layers" list and hit the "Get Results" button to apply changes. Find detailed data by clicking on the hyperlinks provided in the "Results" table.  You can also highlight the feature on the map by clicking the "Map" button.  To change the search area you can click on the "Search" tab and enter a new search.  To change the displayed data you can click on the "Data Layers" tab and alter the checkboxes resulting in a new search.

Map Navigation Tools:
	Zoom In:  Allows the user to click inside the Map Window resulting in more detail.
	Zoom Out:  Allows the user to click inside the Map Window providing less detail.
	Pan:  Provides the user the ability to recenter the view of the Map Window by click.
	Identify:  Allows the user to select on a feature inside the Map Window to see details about that feature in a display window.
	Zoom to Previous Extent:  Reloads the last Map image that was displayed.
	Tools Help:   Displays help screen.
	Contact Information:   Displays contact screen.
